The very popular HYBE Boy group ENHYPEN has made their latest comeback with their track “Bite Me”. I admittedly am not super familiar with this groups discography, so I was quite curious as to what this track would sound like. Let’s see if the song is worth taking a bite out of!

“Bite me” is a lightly sultry pop track with some nice grooves and tight melodies. I appreciate how they play around a bit with the structuring of this track. I found the chanty sort of “pre chorus” to be a bit weird at first, but I kinda can get into it now! It helps give the track a little more dissonance as it gives the melodic chorus more of an impact when it comes in. My biggest complaint is the song feels slightly incomplete. The lack of bridge or a proper outro would have helped a lot here, and i’m genuinely confused as to why they didn’t include one; as there was a lot of potential to do something cool with the overall vibe of the track. As a whole the song is nice and definitely portrays their concept effectively. I enjoy the little bits of creativity through the track, but ultimately wish they did even more with it.
