Today we will be checking out TripleS’s newest unit named (KR)ystal Eyes, with their debut title track “Cherry Talk”.

To start, I absolutely love the little intro synth that pulls you into the song. It does a great job of grabbing your attention with how dreamy is sounds. Right off the bat, the production on this track is quite quirky and a bit dizzying with what sounds to be old school video game samples and some funky honks through the verses. I really enjoy how laid back and fresh the chorus sounds. Although the production is quite intricate with how many layers of samples are being used, the track still has a sort of minimalist feel to it. I think thats mainly attributed to how each section flows so well into each other. My only complaint here is that the vocals are a bit underdeveloped, as I predict these girls are quite young. It does help give the track a more innocent and sweet feel, but I would like a little more power in some of those verses. Overall, a very cute little track with some fun production that will certainly be on my playlist. this summer.
